This spring, Romswood Farm will open the gates to its peony farm from so that people can pick their own peonies and enjoy the delights of this beautiful property.

Romswood is thought to have Australia’s largest variety of peonies. Visitors to the Open Days are invited to pick their own peony buds to take home and watch them bloom from tight little buds into immense, blousy blooms.

Either pack yourself a picnic or enjoy some of the tasty food available at the farm, sit back and listen to live folk music and indulge in some of the peony products made on site at Romswood. Children can enjoy guided nature walks to look out for some of the furry friends who also call Romswood home.

Located in Kerrie, in the Macedon Ranges, Romswood Farm has been growing peonies since the mid 1990s. The cool climate of the region creates perfect peony growing conditions, echoing those of the imperial gardens of China where the peony originated and continues to be revered as a symbol of peace, stability, distinction and wealth.

Children enter free. For more information, visit Romswood Farm website.
