WBBL05 Festival Weekend

For the first time in its history, the fifth instalment of the rebel Women’s Big Bash League will be standalone in 2019/20 with seven festival weekends of cricket confirmed for the knockout competition.

The brand-new season kicks off with a blockbuster Sydney Smash under lights, featuring the Sixers, Thunder and WBBL|04 champions, the Brisbane Heat—giving the country’s best female players an opportunity to take centre stage.

- Friday 18 October at 7:40pm: Sixers v Thunder
- Saturday 19 October at 7:10pm: Sixers v Heat
- Sunday 20 October at 2:10pm: Thunder v Heat
