Presented as part of the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival’s Arts Program.

Welcome To Dystopia is a presentation that is inspired by working women who live in a modern society. In this world, you must fetch fresh water from locations scattered around Melbourne as this is your only way to receive water for the month. Because this is a time where water is worth more than gold, the water is regulated by the government. Maps are sent via email for the public to be notified when their household is allowed permission to collect water.

The clothes designed are functional, tactile, earthy and stylish. It represents the root of a modern woman.
