Having celebrated Lunar New Year for more than 20 years, Crown Melbourne is renowned for transforming its Southbank entertainment precinct into one of the city's most popular destinations, with the 2020 program set to delight locals and beyond. From the Zodiac Spectacular in the Atrium, to the iconic Hawkers' Bazaar festival, it will offer unrivalled Asian cuisine, live entertainment and activities for the entire family.
Zodiac Spectacular, Wednesday 22 January – Tuesday 11 February:
Crown Atrium will be transformed into a Chinese zodiac sign wonderland with larger-than-life luminous animal sculptures cascading down the Atrium staircase. Representing all twelve of the Chinese zodiac signs, the three-week installation will also feature an aerial structure of over 60 lanterns floating from the ceiling.
Hawkers' Bazaar, Friday 31 January – Sunday 2 February:
Bringing the bustling streets of Asia to Crown Riverwalk for three-days-only, the iconic Hawkers' Bazaar festival is back. It will feature more than 30 market stalls showcasing authentic culinary delights and traditional trinkets, while roving performers, musical acts from local and international superstars, and vibrant lion and dragon dances will bring the riverwalk to life.
