Peninsula Summer Music Festival presents Strauss, Wagner & Schubert featuring Lee Abrahmsen.
These two sublime musicians, Lee Abrahmsen and Caroline Almonte, will perform Wagner’s heavenly ‘Wesendonck Lieder alongside selected Strauss and Schubert Lieder. A very special concert not to be missed!
Recently described by critics as "Melbourne's favourite soprano" and hailed as "a rising star" by Limelight Magazine (July 2016), Australian soprano Lee Abrahmsen is a multi-award winning soprano both on the operatic stage and concert platform.
Melbourne-born pianist Caroline Almonte has a reputation as a gifted, versatile and sensitive artist. She has won numerous awards, including the winner of the keyboard section of the ABC Young performers awards and first prize at the international chamber music competition in Italy, Premio Trio di Trieste.
