Debra had always wanted to sing the songs of JD Souther, James Taylor, John Hiatt and many more singer-songwriters. So when Gary Van Egmond, an Australian promoter who was touring The Highwaymen asked whether she would be the support act for The Highwaymen, Debra jumped at the opportunity.
