Homophonic! is bringing the disco ball to the concert hall! Celebrating 11 years of mind-bending queer classical music. Experience Melbourne’s only cult classical chamber music concert, filled with homosexual harmonies, sapphic symphonists, and musical double-entendre. Come and experience the sound world of today’s LGBTQIA+ composers!

Featuring the winner of the 3rd Homophonic! Pride Prize, Jasyln Robertson’s new work for solo violin performed by Kyla Matsuura-Miller; a new jazz-fusion work by saxophonist Cheryl Durongpisitkul, and a thoughtful and joyous premiere by ARIA award-winning Sally Whitwell.

“Homophonic! is a magically unique experience which produces nothing less than musical utopia” – Stage Whispers

“Sydney has Mardi-Gras, but only Melbourne has Homophonic!” -Audience quote.
