Join us for Northern Lights, Melbourne Youth Orchestras’ first concert of 2022. Opening with Borodin’s intoxicating Polostvian Dances, one of the great orchestral showpieces, superb flautist Jessie Gu will then shine in Ibert’s dazzling Concerto. Moving from brooding to triumphant, Sibelius’ 1st Symphony will close the concert with the essence of why audiences love Finland’s favourite son.
