We all have personal relationships which can be challenging from time to time. But do you find yourself stuck in a cycle of relationship drama where the same pattern plays out again and again? If so, you may be stuck on what is known as the Drama Triangle! As human beings, when emotions are high, we can fall into the unhealthy relationship roles which make up the Drama Triangle. We can also get pulled onto this triangle of relationship drama by others who tend to feel helpless, like they know what is best, or who can only see other’s faults. However, it doesn’t need to be this way! Our relationships can be empowering instead of dramatic; you just need to know how to break this cycle by stepping off the Drama Triangle. Come along to Psychology in the Pub to learn more about the Drama Triangle and how to escape unhealthy relationship patterns!

This talk is part of a series of “Psychology in the Pub” presentations, where psychologists present on a range of interesting and engaging topics related to mental health and psychological issues. Emma and Jess look forward to welcoming you to a fun and relaxing afternoon of learning!
