Arguably one of Naarm's biggest Latinpop bands, Pal Mar will be showcasing a very special performance at the Melbourne Recital Centre in partnership with The Boite.

In this performance, Pal Mar expertly weaves together a diverse mix of stories and cultural influences, creating a vibrant tapestry of rhythms and genres. Drawing on their Colombian roots, Pal Mar’s original compositions and musical arrangements range from pop to Latin, bossa nova to tropical, showcasing the versatility of their language skills and cultural background.
Featuring traditional Colombian instruments like the gaita and percussion, Pal Mar’s music is contemporary and exciting, offering a fresh take on a rich musical tradition.
About Pal Mar:
Pal Mar is an emerging Latin Pop band formed in 2019, when Juan Pablo and Isabella met during their musical training at the EMMAT School of Music in Colombia. Their incredible passion for music and travel put them in the eyes of various audiences and to Australia. Isabella's astonishing vocal precision and tone mixed with Juan's effortless guitar playing takes you on a musical adventure to the tropics informed by Latin American rhythms.
They've appeared on several media outlets and stages including SBS and Melbourne Fringe Festival. Pal Mar have recently released their debut EP 'Rua' and performed at the inaugural St Kilda Festival.
