Tributaries is a new body of work by multidisciplinary artist Tineke Van der Eecken who explores the fibres of flora, fauna, and human systems.

Her meticulous works look carefully and closely at the materials and systems that make up the natural world. She presents jewellery, small fine metal sculptures, and biological objects formed by corrosion casting, alongside photographic images that represent the life and death thrum of fragile arterial systems: root, river, skeleton, and vein.

Her concepts are articulated through exceptionally crafted jewellery and sculptures, and objects that sit between these categories, as well as poetry and photography.

Join Tineke for a free artist talk on Saturday 11 and Saturday 18 February from 2pm - 3pm.

Tineke will also be presenting her workshop 'Wearable Treasures' on Saturday 11 February 2023 from 11am - 1pm, followed by an advanced workshop on Saturday 18 February 2023 from 11am to 1pm. Bookings are essential.

Exhibition is open from Friday 3 to Sunday 19 February, open from 10am to 4pm, Wednesday to Sunday.
