Rita wants to learn. she doesn’t want to stay at home and have babies. She feels trapped. She enrolls in an open university course trying to improve her life thinking and hoping there must be more. Frank, her teacher at the university wants to spend more time in the pub and doesn’t want to teach open university students. He is only doing it to it pay for his drink. However, when these two people meet, they have a profound effect on each other. Both in their own way learning that there is more to life than books and booze. Set in the early eighties this play will have you laughing and thinking.
