In 1998 Samuel Gebreselassie was just a child when his Ethiopian family escaped a war-torn Sudanese refugee camp, finding himself all the way in New Zealand thanks to the UN’s refugee program. 

Today, he’s one of Australia’s rising comedy stars, a multi-award-winning comedian & producer making his way across the ditch to share his hilariously unique origin story and outsider perspective on the world.
