Ball Park Music - Every Night The Same Dream Tour
Much-loved Brisbane band Ball Park Music are hitting the road this September and October, off the back the release of their brand new album, ‘Every Night The Same Dream’, which is set for release on Friday 19th August, 2016 via Stop Start/Inertia.
Mostly an analogue affair, the new record comes as a follow up to the band’s hugely successful and chart topping 2014 album ‘Puddinghead’. So far, fans are treated to two amazing cuts from the new album in the form of the sprawling epic ‘Pariah’ and first single ‘Nihilist Party Anthem’.
Supported by triple j, The ‘Every Night The Same Dream’ tour will take in a swag of dates in Snowy Monaro, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane (2 consecutive performances), Canberra, Sydney, Geelong (2 consecutive performances), Melbourne, Hobart, Adelaide (2 consecutive performances), Perth, Darwin, Alice Springs, Townsville, Cairns and Richmond.
Along for the ride are special guests The Creases and Sahara Beck ('cept for Snowtunes, Byron Bay and Your& Owls Festivals).
Front man Sam Cromack had this to share:
“It feels like a lifetime has passed since our last big Australian tour. We were lucky enough to devote a year to writing, relaxing, European touring, festivals spots and an unforgettable (well, actually, I can’t remember much of it) week in Austin, TX for SXSW. Then we bunkered down to chip away at our new record, Every Night The Same Dream, which you’ll all get to hear soon enough. We’re stoked. Our hearts are going to burst. The response to Pariah and Nihilist Party Anthem has been mind-blowing. We’re chomping at the bit to get back on the road and play a bunch of new material as well as all the old faves. Well, most of the old faves. A new record is great because it means you can take some of the old songs that you’re bored with to the back paddock and shoot them. Nah, just joking. Maybe. You never know. See you soon”.
Ball Park Music will also be gracing festivals including Snowtunes, Yours and Owls Festival and this year’s annual Splendour In The Grass in Byron Bay this July.
