Stevie Nicks – 24 Karat Gold Tour

Australia will absolutely shimmer as Rollingstone's Queen of Rock and Roll Stevie Nicks brings her 24 Karat Gold Tour to Perth, Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne come November. She will also be doing three shows for A Day On The Green with stops in Hunter Valley, Mt. Cotton and Yarra Valley.

Stevie is popularly known as the former lead vocalist of British-American band, Fleetwood Mac. Her dreamy and mystical songwriting, coupled with her husky yet powerful contralto, hugely contributed to the success of the then blues-oriented band in the rock music arena. 'Rhiannon', 'Landslide' and 'Dreams' are but few of the smash hits that Stevie wrote and performed with the band.

During her time with the Fleetwood Mac, she got involved in some solo projects, leading to the release of her solo album titled 'Bella Donna' in 1981. The album topped the US Billboard Charts and has even been included in the list of Billboard's Greatest 200 Albums Of All Time. Meanwhile, her 2014 release called '24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault', features new versions of her unreleased songs throughout her 40-year old career.

To make the tour even more exciting, English-American rockers Pretenders, fronted by Chrissie Hynde, will be joining Stevie on stage to play their own set of hits. The band are currently riding on their latest album called 'Alone' which was released in October last year. Melbourne's Ali Barter will also be in tow as support act. Ali won triple j Unearthed in 2013. She popularised the 2016 single 'Girlie Bits'.
