Eminem – Rapture 2019

The wait is finally over! "Rap God" Eminem is on his way to our shores for the second instalment of his 'Rapture Tour'. He will be performing in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and for the very first time, in Perth next year February. After the Aussie shows, he will fly to New Zealand in March for a debut show in Wellington.

Eminem’s fiercely loyal Australian fans have been wishing for tour dates to be added in this territory and their prayers have been answered. The Detroit rap icon's live show illustrates exactly why he remains the "greatest in the world" of hip hop. His rapid-fire delivery, expansive phrasing, acerbic lyrics and angstful stage presence are awe-inspiring to witness live. On Eminem's 2018 headline Coachella set, Rolling Stone gushed, "Everything that made Slim Shady one of the most essential voices of his generation was onstage this weekend."

When the 15-time Grammy Award-winner and biggest-selling rapper of all time dropped his surprise 10th studio album 'Kamikaze' unannounced, on 31 August this year, it was impossible to ignore. It shot straight to #1 on the Australian Albums chart where it retained pole position for four consecutive weeks, becoming the MC’s ninth chart-topping album in the country.

And the record-breaking rapper doesn't stop there. 'Killshot', his standalone single, scored the highest 24-hour YouTube debut for a hip-hop video (the third-highest music video debut overall) upon its release. Eminem previously toured the first Australian leg of 'Rapture Tour' in 2014 when he thrilled audiences at sold-out stadiums across the country. Every seat was also filled during his previous 'Lose Yourself' Australian tour in 2011.

On the 'Rapture' 2019 tour, the rapper is set to be joined by a roster of special guests that he, himself, handpicked. Hilltop Hoods, Royce da 5'9'' and Boogie will all join forces to help blast stages and thrill audiences.
