Panic! At The Disco – Pray For The Wicked Tour
We wouldn’t be surprised if you all are in a state of panic right now. Who wouldn’t when American rockers Panic! At The Disco are returning to our shores this October? You read it right. Brendon Urie and company will be performing in Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne in support of their latest album ‘Pray For The Wicked’. Following the Aussie dates, they will be heading to New Zealand for a one-off show in Auckland.
‘Pray For The Wicked’ was released in late June as the band’s sixth studio album. It features the singles ‘Say Amen (Saturday Night)’, ‘King Of The Clouds’, ‘High Hopes’ and the promotional track ‘(F*ck A) Silver Lining’. The upcoming tour will see the band performing not just these songs but also the hits from their entire catalogue that sent them to pop-rock royalness.
"Panic! At The Disco wowed...Brendon Urie rocked through a medley of career-spanning hits, from 'Say Amen (Saturday Night)' to 'I Write Sins, Not Tragedies', although the most memorable moment came with his rendition of 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. He recorded the cover for the Suicide Squad soundtrack and has performed it live before, but nailed it…hitting notes that would make any Queen fan’s jaw drop," said entertainment company Variety on the band’s headlining performance at the annual KROQ Weenie Roast music festival in LA.
With lead vocalist Brendon Urie’s extensive vocal range and the band’s ability to hop from genre to genre with such aplomb, it’s no wonder why Panic! At The Disco has become one of the most recognisable and most famous bands we have today. Since bursting onto the scene in 2005, they have released chart-topping albums, sold out shows, and gained accolades here and there including two Grammy nominations.
Peek at Panic! At The Disco’s tour dates below and let thoughts of confettis, streamers and wall-breaking performances take over you, causing a good kind of panic!
