Trading since 2003 on the ever changing smith street in Fitzroy, Bebida has become a local institution, the new owner, James Rennie, is aiming to continue on with the Bebida vibe; offering great food, warm hospitality and a homely atmosphere.

Whether playing a quiet game of scrabble, ebbing out the afternoon with a great coffee and a good book or gorging on beautiful food while listening to some great emerging local music talent you will always receive the friendliest of welcomes at Bebida.

A shared love of food is the driving force behind the people of Bebida with a Spanish influence married with a local regional influence. Sourced from small local suppliers and producers, the menu is constantly evolving to reflect the season and what is available fresh from the market on the day.

“Bebida” means “drink” in Spanish and our range of Victorian beers, wines, soft drinks and Australian spirits are there to showcase the diverse range that is on offer in Victoria.

Our secret courtyard hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Smith street offers a calming and peaceful area surrounded by fresh herbs and plants that can be reserved exclusively for your private function.
