Monties Bar has become a Fitzroy institution operating for five years, and named after a dog, what more could you ask for when looking for a relaxed drinking spot? With DJs Thursdays to Saturdays, Monties transfers from 'your local' to a nightspot with the emphasis on party. The bar is big, licensed to fit up to 200 people, and can go from being your comfortable local watering hole with cheap bar snacks, to a night club/function venue easily.
