We think that Melbourne has a collectively singular view of colour and style. The same places with the same colour scheme, a lot of wood, plenty of black. We want colour in our lives, we want excitement, fun and silly faces. We want to dance, we want to stay up all night, we want to chew gum and flirt with strangers, we want ice-cream before and after dinner, we want to wear coloured braids in our hair and we don’t want to share them!
