The Victorian State Ballet is Victoria’s own ballet company which emerged this year from the earlier Melbourne Dance Theatre. Due to the needs of Regional Victoria, the name was changed to reflect the new goals and vision for this new stage in the life of the company.
Formed in 2003 under the expertise of Martin and Michelle Sierra and counting for over 25 years of professional experience worldwide, the VSB was launched to fulfil the needs of Victoria’s dance community.
