Nigel Wearne is a singer-songwriter, luthier, poet and gleaner. Equipped with personally handcrafted instruments, he melds finger-style guitar, 'up'-hammer banjo, piano and honest storytelling. Gleaning diverse influence from Tom Waits, Joe Henry and Gillian Welch, he tells stories of forgotten rebels, wandering poets and true tales of Australian history. His sophomore album, Black Crow garnered wide critical acclaim including a 4-star review in Rolling Stone and a nomination for Best Country Album at the Music Victoria Awards. Nigel’s current album Drawing Circles is a solo record that’s raw, compelling and reflective. A storyteller at heart, he paints lyrical pictures with “the narrative-fuelled prose of Paul Kelly” – Beat Magazine. “One of Australia’s emerging songwriters” – Tone Deaf. “Warmth flecked with grit… beauty awaits” 4 Stars – Rolling Stone.

Fuelled by a love of storytelling, Rose Zita Falko’s music has been tagged as ‘Western Noir’ with an added description of Americana rawness meets sophisticated jazz and soul tones. There is no archetypal song, her songs range from a quiet soulful meander through to upbeat toe-tapping sing-alongs. With a passion for performing and song-writing, the past few years has seen this Victorian-based artist release her debut EP ‘Original Son’ to critical acclaim. Rose has toured across Australia performing at some of Australia’s most celebrated venues and festivals from Tamworth Country Music festival, Melbourne’s Leaps and Bounds and Festival of King Island to name a few. On top of her busy tour schedule, she has been able to travel nationally and internationally to attend renowned songwriting retreats, plus cowrites with celebrated national and international artists. Rose is very much looking forward to releasing new music this year including her sophomore EP.
