The Chainsmokers – Memories…Do Not Open Tour

'Roses', 'Closer' and 'Don't Let Me Down'—who hasn't danced and sung along to these hits yet? The Grammy Award-winning global sensation The Chainsmokers have successfully dominated the airwaves worldwide with their string of chart-topping hits. Now, the duo of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall are set to conquer Australian stages this October, touring in support of their debut album 'Memories...Do Not Open' which has been released last April.

In an interview with Kent 'Smallzy' Small in Rhode Island, the duo teased fans with an idea of a tour Down Under on the latter part of the year and now they made it official. They will be performing in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Forming in 2012, The Chainsmokers got their headway in 2014 with the release of their single '#Selfie'. Three years past and they now have a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording for their song 'Don't Let Me Down', five awards from iHeart Radio, American Music Award for Favourite Electronic Dance Music Artist, a cult following on social media as well as headline shows in different parts of the world.

The Chainsmokers also became one of only three groups in history to have three singles—'Closer', Coldplay collaboration 'Something Just Like This' and 'Paris'—simultaneouly in the Billboard's Hot 100 Top 10 list. The other two groups were The Beatles and the Bee Gees.

The duo's last free show in Sydney last April had to be halted and relocated due to excited fans swarming the stage. This only shows how much of a hot property they are, so grab your tickets fast and get 'Closer' to The Chainsmokers this October!
