Dami Im – Dreamer Tour in ACT
Korean-born Aussie pop sensation Dami Im is set to keep us warm this winter through to spring as she embarks on a mammoth national tour. She will be performing in Ballina, Grafton, Orange, Dubbo, Armidale, Forster Area, Wagga Wagga, Albury, Wollongong and Canberra this August, before heading to Wyong, Port Macquarie, Melbourne and Wendouree in September. The 'Dreamer Tour' continues in October, with shows at Warrnambool, Horsham, Bendigo, Brisbane, Sydney, Nelson Bay and Belmont. November will see the last three shows happening in Albany, Mandurah and Perth.
Dami will be bringing her exciting band along, and will treat concertgoers to an array of established hits and fan favourites from 'The X Factor', power ballad and international Eurovision smash 'Sound of Silence' and a mix of new material including 'Dreamer' which is lifted from her 'Live Sessions EP' released last January.
Dami Im has amassed a multitude of hits and achievements during her relatively short career. She first came to national prominence in 2013 after winning season five of 'The X Factor'. She then walked off 'The X Factor' stage victorious and strode, without delay, into the #1 spot on the ARIA charts with her platinum self-titled album 'Dami Im'.
Since then, she has released three more acclaimed studio albums, including the Gold accredited 2014 release 'Classic Carpenters', which peaked at #3 on the ARIA album charts and gave rise to a sold out national tour. Dami then travelled to Sweden to represent Australia at The Eurovision Song Contest in 2016—where she placed second in the world performing in front of an audience of 200 million with her international hit, 'Sound of Silence'. Early 2018, she dropped her fourth studio album 'I Hear a Song' which peaked at #3 on the ARIA Album Charts.
Joining Dami as special guests at all dates will be pop artist Brittany Maggs. Meanwhile, acoustic pop duo Jayesslee will join the ride in Sydney.
