Flinders Golf Bowls Club

The Flinders Golf Bowls Club, located off Bass Street, is a small and friendly club situated in beautiful surroundings. The Clubhouse is set amid attractive gardens and is further enhanced by a well-furnished sun-deck, shade umbrellas and undercover barbecue facilities, which are well used during the warmer summer months.

Our Bent Grass Green is kept in tip-top condition and our bowlers participate in Saturday and Tuesday Pennant, as well as taking part in a Triples competitions with neighbouring Clubs on Mondays.

Members also receive many invitations from Clubs all over the Peninsula to join them in social bowls. A ‘Try Bowls Day’ is held on the 3rd Sunday in October when many people choose to come and try their hand at the game. Coaching is available to new bowlers and to existing players wishing to hone their skills. Bowls are available on loan to new bowlers.

Bare Foot Bowls

Barefoot bowls are also organised in the summer holidays on a Friday afternoon and enjoyed by locals and holidaymakers alike. Our comfortable air-conditioned Clubhouse boasts a licensed Bar and is open on Friday evenings for bowls followed by a BYO barbecue.Visitors are also always welcome to join us at a variety of social events held at the Club throughout the season.
