Anchor Restaurant

Anchor Restaurant is our new modern Australian fine dining restaurant in Melbourne’s Bayside suburb of Elwood, in the location formerly occupied by award-winning Dandelion Restaurant.

The sleek and stylish fit-out complements our mission to offer casual fine dining and features a striking marble bar, which showcases our range of wines and other beverages. Distressed brick walls, a central plant-filled atrium and mood lighting create a warm and inviting ambience. A semi-open kitchen offers our diners visibility of how the magic happens and who is involved.

A passion for sharing excellent food is what has driven us to create Anchor, our second restaurant. Guests are treated to premium Mediterranean-inspired dishes, ideal for sharing. The modern and approachable menu is designed by co-owner Rosalin Virnik and her kitchen team, including chef Silas Orre. Co-owner Oliver Virnik runs front of house to ensure that diners experience service that is both friendly and attentive. He also ensures that wines are carefully curated to match the menu and that the cocktail list features well-known favourites.
